Corporate Governance

Our commitment to transparency is evidenced both in our products, which provide crucial business information to consumers, and in the way we operate. It’s a value that reverberates throughout The McGraw-Hill Companies, but is especially evident in matters of leadership.

Our Board of Directors comprises some of the most enterprising and well-rounded individuals in business today. The board has ten independent directors out of a total of twelve, including two women and two people of color. They conduct themselves in accordance with the highest ethical standards, and within our guidelines.

The McGraw-Hill Code of Business Ethics guides everything from supplier interactions to customer dealings.

Finally, we encourage our employees to report any concerns swiftly and without fear of retribution. We aim for a culture of openness and inclusiveness; fostering communication is our ultimate goal.

This concept is perhaps best embodied in our employee hotline, where anyone is free to report any concern—personal or otherwise—anonymously, if so desired.
